After opening an album you will see, among others, the following buttons above the index page:
Open this help file.
Start the slideshow, not always present.
Share the album with members of Facebook, not always present.
Send Email with link to this album, not always present.
Open the viewer settings page.
These icons can also have a color and are sometimes partly transparent.
Click on the album title or the theme photo if these buttons are not visible. Sometimes it is possible to conceal the buttons (again) by clicking on the album title or on the theme picture.
If visible, the next buttons are used for navigation from the index page:
Go back to the beginning album.
Click on a thumbnail to enlarge. Click, if available, on the Play icon to start a slide show. If the album creator did implement the slide show, you can also start the slide show by clicking the Play icon above the the enlarged image. You can stop the slide show by clicking the Play iconagain.
On the index page it is possible by clicking the Settings iconto adjust a number of properties: You can adapt the font size used for the descriptions: you may reduce the font size to 50% or enlarge it to 200%. In the same way you can adapt the button size. You can also adapt the Viewing time per picture in a slide show.
Using your fingers on an enlarged photo:
Click on or left or right of the photo to hide the buttons and text around the photo. Click again to show this information again.
Use a quick swipe left/right over a picture to open the next/previous picture.
Use a quick swipe up/down over a picture to close the picture and return to the index page. You can do that also with a pinch or by tapping the right edge of the window.
To zoom-in: double click or spread your fingers in the photo.
Pan through a zoomed photo to see enlarged details.
Double click again or pinch with your fingers to zoom-out.
Using your fingers on the index page:
Put a finger on the side of the index page (next to the small pictures) and move the page up or down when not all content is visible. You can also put two fingers anywhere on the index page and move the page.
Use a quick swipe left/right to open next/previous index page or the next/previous album if such a page exists.
Use a quick swipe down to close the index page.
If you keep a finger 0.4 seconds or longer on a thumbnail image on the index page, the file name of the picture and also the description is displayed in a small yellow box until you take away the finger again. Before you release your finger do shift it to the side outside the thumbnails. The album creator may have disabled this possibility.
Click if you see at the bottom of the index screen a black bar with a triangle at the triangle to play music.
The album creator may have disabled swipes on the index page or he can have restricted the swipes to the theme image, so the preferred area for swipes is the theme image if available.
Above an enlarged photo you see in the upper right corner a maximum of 4 buttons:
The first left button is used to Start / Stop the slide show.
Clicking the 2nd button will show the enlarged picture in full-screen mode (only on Android devices, not with iOS).
The third button opens the menu.
The last button brings you back to the index page.
If you click the menu button, the following options can be selected:
Share the photo with members of Facebook.
Share the photo on Twitter.
Share the photo on Pinterest
Share the photo via WhatsApp (only on a mobile phone).
Share the photo on Google+
Send Email with a link to this photo.
Download the corresponding high-resolution photo of the original photograph. When you click it, the picture is opened in a new window. Press your finger than any time in the picture until there emerges a menu is where you can choose: Save Image or Copy.
Show location in a Google Maps webpage.
Show or Hide EXIF data of the photo.
The album creator do not have to show all these possibilities, he can even hide the entire menu.
To get a complete full screen display of your album in iOS, turn your iPhone first in portrait orientation and next back in landscape orientation: the bottom tool-bar and the Host domain bar will both disappear, leaving it in complete full screen mode. The tool-bar and full URL bar will appear again when you tap on top or bottom of the page. Unfortunately you have to do that under iOS to use the buttons on top and bottom of a page!
Up to 7 text-buttons and / or icons may be displayed below the thumbs on the index page with as default functions:
Go to previous album
Download GPS track
Show route in a Google Maps web page
Show route in the Google Earth program
Show a page with more information about the subject of the album.
Go to the Home web page
Go to next album
However other functions can also be assigned to these buttons.
These functions may also be represented by text links in an optional menu bar at the top of the index page.
